Tips for a Great Estimate
Thank You for scheduling an estimate with us, I will be personally out to take a look at your project and we look forward to doing our painting project. Here are a few tips to make this process go smoothly and get the most out of it for your home.
- 1) I will be on time and most likely early, if anything changes on your end please call us promptly at 484-821-7112 or email me directly at [email protected], if something happens on my end to delay me I will call the number on record. My motto always is show up early or you are late.I hold our painters to this same standard.
- 2) Please put all pets away so we can focus on the project, I love all animals and have 5 pets of my own but they can be a distraction when discussing work. I will play with them later.
- 3) If possible please have all decision makers at the estimate, this will insure there is no confusion on the scope of work and I will be giving a price on the spot which can save countless hours getting other estimates. Without knowing what is important to everyone involved it may be hard to give a set price
- 4) Know what you want done and let us know your budget, we can work within most budgets, we give a set price for the work, no surprises once the work is done so we need to be 100% clear on the scope of work.
- 5) We have tons of references and are fully insured plus pay workman's compensation. You will be getting a true price to do your job and to keep us in business which means when you need us to do additional work we will still be around.

Safety Tips Every Homeowner Should Know
Before Hiring a Painting Contractor
Because you want to obtain the best possible job at the lowest possible price, here are some things to keep in mind so you don’t end up getting the opposite of what you want!
- Tip #1: Always make sure a “lower price” is an accurate price.
Many contractors will “low ball” their estimate in order to get a job. But then they proceed to “jack up” the price as the job goes along. And you’re stuck. - Tip #2: Always make sure you’re getting the propermaterials you’re paying for.
In order to have the lowest estimate, some contractorswill “cut corners” during the job. They might use cheaper materials, such as inferior paint… or use fewer coats… or any other way they can “save money” and add to their profit margin while you’re not looking. - Tip #3: Always make sure your contractor has “workman’s comp coverage” for all workers, and doesn’t “sub out” the job to others.
Many contractors sneak by without insuring their workers! This saves them money, but exposes EVERYONE – including YOU – to enormous risk of lawsuits if “the worst” happens! Is it worth a few hundred dollars to risk your home and your future? Not at all. - Tip #4: Always make sure there are no “hidden fees” and “up-sell” surprises.
Only work with contractors (like us) who will ethically and honorably give you the most accurate price – with no “hidden fees” or “up-sells” to surprise you after it’s too late!
